except for Tracy our teacher who is a bit older. This blog lets you know what we have been up to
and what our next learning steps will be. We love to find out what people think about our class

Week 2 Term 3

As part of the "acquiring information" stage of our Terrific Trolleys topic we have been looking at various forms of transport. In ICT we sorted types of transport according to where we would find them. Here is Sarah's work using the program Inspiration
We also wrote information reports about bikes. Here are some examples:
A bike is a form of transport that you pedal. They are for people only. In the dark your lights need to be on.
Alfie

A bike is a form of transport that you pedal. Some bikes have handle bars with streamers on. I have a green bike.
Oliver

Our poem this week helped us remember how an 'I can" attitude can help us learn to be expert bike riders.
On Friday 2 more Room 11 friends received good work certificates in Kowhai assembly. Well done.

In maths some of us have been learning about before and after numbers up to 20. Here we are using this knowledge to play a lily pad and frog game.
We ended the week by making the most of the sunshine and having a play with our Room 5 buddies.

On this short digital movie you can see some of the work we did related to 100 Days and also some more shots of the celebration we enjoyed together.

Week 10 Term 2

Our last week of Term 2 was both a happy and sad time. Sad because we had to say good bye to some of our friends. Firstly Ezara who has been an important part of our Room 11 family since we began back in February. Good luck in your new school Ezara and we hope we can all keep in touch through our blog.
We also said good bye and thank you to Max for working with us during the last few weeks of Term 1 and then again for the last 3 weeks of this term. The whole syndicate loved your pyjama day idea.

Take a look at what happens in Room 11 when we forget to take our pyjamas off  when we get out of bed!

Our poem this week was one that you will all know plus a few amusing verses that Tracy's niece sang to her on the telephone all the way from England. If you have any more fun verses please let us know.
