Welcome to our for Room 11 2012 blog. This blog tells you what we have been learning during the previous week and what we will be doing the following week. There is also a reminders section at the end for events coming up over the rest of this term.
On Wednesday this week there was alot of excitement, and a little bit of nervousness, as we arrived at school for the start of a new year. We started with 12 friends and by the end of the week we were up to 13. Some more friends will be joining us over the next few weeks until we reach our capacity of 18 children. Can you recognise any of our friends sharing morning tea together in the sunshine?
We worked on hearing, recognising and writing the sound 's' this week. As part of this we painted some rather sssscary ssssspiders!!! Watch out for them crawling up our classroom wall later on in the week.
Here we are painting the web of the spiders.
