Terrific Trolleys by Room 11 NCS 2012 on PhotoPeach
Amongst all the excitement and preparation for the Trolley Derby we did manage to squeeze in some other learning as well. In maths we started our topic on measurement and looked at using non-standard units to measure and compare the lengths of our feet.
To celebrate Nelson Public Library turning 170 years old on
September 27th we wrote a story about our dream
library of the future. The library is holding a competition for the best ideas and I will be entering some of our work, so look out for them on the Nelson Library wall.
Our tricky words for week 8,9,10 are 'should', 'could', 'would'. The rhyme we have been using to remember these is O U Lucky Duck
Our tongue twister about a Woodchuck helped us to spell some of these words. Have a listen and see how many O U Lucky Duck words you can hear.
