except for Tracy our teacher who is a bit older. This blog lets you know what we have been up to

Week 3 Term 2

Take a look at the amazing science experiments that some of our parents shared with us during Science Week!
An exploding volcano......
Magic floating eggs.......

A big thank you to Will, Oliver and Thomas for bringing your mum's along to share their fun science with us.
Our literacy focus this week looked at all our fabulous mum's. First of all we wrote descriptions of our mums and published them in ICT.
Then we published and recorded a poem about our mums.

I hope that all our Room 11 mums had the wonderful Mother's Day they deserved.

Fri June 1st: Whole School Cross Country event in the afternoon, parents welcome
Mon 4th June: Queen's Birthday, no school
Thurs 14th June: Museum visit to Maori myths and legends workshop, parents needed
Fri 29th June end of Term 2
Mon 16th  July start of Term 3

  1. Wow what an amazing week in school! We loved bringing in the volcano. When we got home we made it explode again so Thomas' Daddy could see it too. Enjoy the rest of your week.
